Aruba is a party to the following treaties and conventions with respect to intellectual property:

1. Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property;
2. Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works;
3. Nice Agreement Concerning the International Classification of Goods and Services for the Purpose of Registration of Marks (eighth edition);
4. WIPO Convention;
5. Vienna Agreement Establishing an International Classification of the Figurative Elements of Marks;
6. Patent Cooperation Treaty;
7. Strasbourg Agreement Concerning the International Classification of Patents;
8. Trademark Law Treaty;
9. Strasbourg Convention on the Unification of Certain Points of Substantive Law on Patents for Invention;
10. Budapest Treaty on the International Recognition of the Deposit of Microorganisms for the Purpose of Patent Procedure;
11. Locarno Agreement Establishing an International Classification for Industrial Designs; and
12. Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties.
