Deregistration from the Aruba Register of Registered Aircraft
Deregistration of the aircraft from the Aruba Register of Registered Aircraft (established on the basis of the Geneva Convention on the International Recognition of Rights in Aircraft 1948) (“ARR”) only takes place at the request of the owner after:
- Having obtained written consent of the holders of registered rights (houders van ingeschreven rechten) and creditors having arrested the aircraft (beslagleggers) (if applicable), or after proof that these persons have been paid what is due to them; and
- Having obtained a leave for such deregistration from the Aruban Court of First Instance.
